Anytime. Our facility offers 24/7 access, 365 days a year. Whether you need to load up early in the morning or grab something late at night, your unit is always accessible. You can even rent a unit online at 1 AM and get access within minutes.
The facility has 24-hour digital video surveillance, full perimeter fencing, and lighting throughout. We're located in a secure area off M-139 on Dickinson Road. A security code-enabled gate system is coming soon. The property is also wheelchair accessible.
We strongly recommend protecting your stored belongings. We offer affordable Tenant Protection plans starting at $12/month that cover fire, theft, burglary, vandalism, water damage, and more. We recommend our plans over homeowner's insurance because your stored items may not be covered under your existing policy, and filing a claim could raise your premiums or result in cancellation. You can add coverage when you rent your unit or anytime through your online account.

Our standard self-storage units are not climate controlled. However, our Business Incubator spaces include mini split heating and A/C for year-round comfort. If temperature control matters for what you're storing or working on, those may be a better fit.
Yes. We offer multiple options for vehicle storage at our facility in St. Joseph. Our 10x30 units are popular for car storage, and our 12x30 units are specifically designed for vehicles with an 11'W x 12'T overhead door, interior lighting, and an electrical outlet. We also have outdoor storage for larger vehicles like RVs and boats. All stored vehicles must be in working, driveable condition. No. Auto repairs, oil changes, and mechanical work are not permitted in storage units. All stored vehicles must be in working condition. If you need a workspace for trade or mechanical work, our Business Incubator spaces with overhead doors and 200-amp electrical service may be a better option.
Month-to-month. No long-term commitments required – you can rent for as long as you need the space. If you decide to move out, we ask for 15 days' written notice.
No. Living in a storage unit is against the law and will result in immediate termination of your rental agreement. Storage units are not designed for habitation – they lack the ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems required for safe living.
No. We provide one high collar text-to-release lock at no cost when you rent a unit. If you forget your access code, just text the number on the lock and you'll get your code back via text message. You're welcome to use your own lock as well.
Yes. Free-standing shelves are a great way to maximize vertical space and keep your belongings organized. Just make sure shelving is free-standing (nothing mounted to walls or ceiling) and leave the unit in the condition you found it when you move out.
Not from a standard self-storage unit – those are for storage only. But if you need a workspace to actually operate from, that's exactly what our Business Incubator spaces are designed for. They come with finished interiors, 3/4-bathrooms, mini split HVAC, and 200-amp electrical service.

Yes – we're about a 7-minute drive (5.8 miles) from the Andrews University campus. Take M-139 toward St. Joseph for about 5 miles and we're on the right. A 5x10 unit is usually enough for a dorm room's worth of belongings. Rent online and skip hauling everything home between semesters.

Our Business Incubator spaces are fully finished commercial workspaces with 3/4-bathrooms, mini split heating and A/C, 200-amp electrical service, and 12'W x 14'T overhead doors.
